Colton Burpo is the main character of "Heaven is for Real". Colton Burpo had a very bad sickness called 'appendicitis', and he died for about 3 minutes and came back to life. In that time, Colton went to Heaven and came back, in which time he did a lot of things; time does not occur to Heaven.
Todd Burpo is the author and is a character of "Heaven is for Real". In his book Todd has some dialogue and a lot of bible scripture. He is also the loving father of Colton Burpo. Lastly, Todd is a pastor, author, and owner of a garage door business.
